We at Debt Wise are pleased to announce that the Debt Wise program hire has been restructured as from 1 September 2011
The previous starting price was: R240 per folder plus an additional R49.50 per user and once you exceed 100 consumers in distribution an additional R81 for every 100 consumers was charged.
This whole structure has now been reworked to provide our clients with the best possible software at a very competitive price!
Example:
If your office has one folder = R240.00
Four users @ R49.50 each = R198.00
Hundred and fifty consumers in distribution = R 81.00
Total = R519.00 p/m
VAT + R 72.66
Total cost to company R591.66 p/m*

The grouping of companies and the different branches
A- IF you have multiple PDA folders (branches) listed under your company and the head office bears all the cost for the various branches you will only be charged for the total consumers in distribution throughout your various branches. This will result in a huge saving for the company as there will be no charges for individual branches - (branches are also referred to as PDA folders).
B- There will also be no additional cost for users, thus, each individual employee can now have their own password at no extra cost. This will enable you to keep track of all the changes made by your employees to each consumers application on the Debt Wise program (using the saved logs on the tracking screen).
C- If each branch is responsible for their own program hire ,the consumer bundle charges will be applicable to each branch, these branches must be listed as split accounts under the PDA folder management tab and will receive separate invoices each month.
Note the following:
Program hire will still be deducted from the DC fee payments (unless an alternate arrangement is already in place).
Where a company as entity is responsible for the hire , it will be deducted from all branches until the cost is covered (this is as at grouping A).

Dear Users,
We are pleased to announce that we will be launching the new version of the Debt Wise Solutions, Debt Counseling interface at the end of this week.
Due to the number of changes to the system there will be intermittent downtime during the course of the update.
In order to reduce the impact of the downtime we will be performing the update over the weekend.
Please be advised that there may be intermittent downtime for extended periods from 19:00 on Friday 18th of March 2011 until, Sunday the 20th of March 2011.

Debt Wise Solutions (Pty) Ltd - 2008/020923/07
As some of you may know a Conditional Moratorium was signed by banks on terminations and legal enforcement of mortgage and related agreements under debt review. The document was sent by the NCR to all Debt Counsellors yesterday. This is a very important piece of communication which illustrates the circumstances under which banks are prepared to put an interim moratorium on terminations for cases where the consumer is paying sufficient amounts whilst a court day is awaited.
We, as PDA, are happy to announce that we are now at a stage where we can offer you assistance, by facilitating use of the Altech Nupay AEDO system for the collection of payments from consumers.
We would like to provide you with a short explanation as to how the system would be implemented:
- The AEDO system is a card system
- A representative of Nupay will equip you with a card machine at your business premises.
- It will be required of you to submit specific information regarding each client which you want to laod, to AEDO by means of entering the info onto the card machine.
- It will be required of you to have the consumer's consent to this method of payment and to extend his/ her consent in writing.
- DC Partner will receive payments in accordance with the Debt Counselor's instructions to AEDO.
- Submitted information is editable either via the card machine or the AEDO website.
We are sure you would agree that this system could hold many advantages to Debt Counselors and Consumers and we would therefore like to offer you the opportunity to have this very handy tool installed at your office. Naturally, this does come at a price and we have listed the applicable fees below for your perusal:
- Monthly rental of card machine = R 175.00
- Maintenance = R 80.00 - Insurance = R 15.00
- Tracking = First three days free of charge (thereafter R2 per day)
- Unsuccessful transactions = No charges
Tracking entails a "search for funds", on the scheduled day of payment. One will automatically have the tracking function operating for three days (as from scheduled payment date), but thereafter a tracking fee of R 2.00 per additional day becomes payable.
The AEDO system also has a cost implication for the consumer. A fee of 2.2 % of the transaction value will be levied and charged to the consumer's bank account. It is of extreme importance that this information is conveyed to the consumer before loading him / her onto the AEDO system.
Kindly take note that currently, there is a restraint in respect of the maximum value of a transaction. A transaction value of more than R 5000.00 will not be accepted and users are advised to load multiple transactions for installments larger than R 5000.00.
